 PLEASE BRING ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR EACH TEAM WITH YOU TO CHECK-IN IF YOU HAVE NOT SENT IN BEFORE THE DUE DATE OF JUNE 10, 2019

TWO (2) COACH CREDENTIALS AT CHECK-IN. ADDITIONAL COACH CREDENTIALS CAN BE PURCHASED AT CHECK IN FOR $40. COACHES MUST WEAR THEIR CREDENTIALS AT ALL TIMES. THE CREDENTIALS ALLOW COACHES ADMISSION INTO FACILITIES AND ALLOW COACHES TO SIT ON THE BENCH DURING GAMES. IF YOU MISPLACE OR LOSE YOUR CREDENTIALS, YOU WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE A REPLACEMENT AT $40.

COACH & BENCH PERSONNEL DRESS CODE

 THE MANDATED COACHING ATTIRE PRESENTS A PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM COACHING IN BASKETBALL SHORTS, JEANS, OPEN TOE SHOES, TANK TOPS, HATS, SWEAT PANTS, ETC. WE WOULD APPRECIATE THE FOLLOWING COACHING ATTIRE: 

– COLLARED SHIRTS – KHAKI SLACKS/KHAKI STYLE SHORTS

  

TEAM RESPONSIBILITY

  EACH TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING THEIR WARM-UP BALL.  BALLING ON THE BEACH WILL PROVIDE ALL CLOCK PERSONNEL AND HOME TEAM WILL PROVIDE SCOREKEEPERS. THE ONLY PEOPLE ALLOWED AT THE SCORE TABLE ARE COACHES, REFEREES AND SCORE TABLE PERSONNEL.

 

 

  BALLING ON THE BEACH SCHEDULE

 THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT YOUR GAMES WILL BE PLAYED IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. PLEASE BE AT YOUR DESIGNATED GYM 30-MINUTES BEFORE YOUR GAME TIME.    NO SHOW TEAMS WILL AUTOMATICALLY FORFEIT THEIR SCHEDULED GAMES, AND THOSE GAMES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE RESCHEDULED.

– Adult  daily  price is  $15.00 


–  Child  daily  price is  $5.00  (children 5 and under are free). 


–  Daily tickets are valid for all gymnasiums for that day only. 


– Players admission is free, all player must wear uniforms for admission into facilities 

 *Wristband must be worn at ALL times in order to enter gym facilities (no exceptions). Balling on the Beach has a NO Tolerance Rule. Misconduct of spectators, players or coaches can result in assessment of a technical foul, ejection or forfeiture of the game. Spectators must also remain in the area designated by the officials. The officials shall have the power to make decisions on any matters or questions not specifically covered in the rules.

TOURNAMENT RULES

ALL GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AS FOLLOWS:
MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL (GRADES 7 THRU 12) WILL CONSIST OF TWO SIXTEEN MINUTE HALVES AND WILL USE A REGULATION SIZE BASKETBALL (INTERMEDIATE SIZE BALL FOR WOMEN).

GRADES 3 THRU 6 WILL CONSIST OF TWO FOURTEEN MINUTE HALVES AND WILL USE THE 28.5 INTERMEDIATE SIZE BALL.

NO GAME WILL START BEFORE THE SCHEDULED TIME, UNLESS BOTH COACHES AGREE. THERE WILL BE A MINIMUM OF A THREE MINUTE WARM-UP PERIOD. HALFTIME WILL BE THREE MINUTES UNLESS BOTH COACHES AGREE TO START EARLIER.

TWO 30 SECOND TIME-OUTS PER HALF.

OVERTIME: TWO MINUTES (ONE TIMEOUT ONLY PER OVERTIME)

THE CLOCK WILL STOP IN THE LAST TWO MINUTES OF EACH HALF.

TWO (2) DIRECT TECHNICAL FOULS DURING A GAME ON A PLAYER, COACH, OR TEAM REPRESENTATIVE WILL RESULT IN THEIR EJECTION FROM THAT GAME AND THE NEXT GAME OF THE TOURNAMENT. FIGHTING AND GROSS UNSPORTSMANLIKE BEHAVIOR CAN BE MORE THAN ONE GAME AND IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS.

EACH TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR WARM-UP, GAME BALLS AND / OR ANY OTHER ITEMS BROUGHT INTO THE GAME. BALLING ON THE BEACH IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ITEMS.

IF A TEAM FORFEITS TWO GAMES BY NOT PARTICIPATING; THE TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE EVENT AND CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN BRACKET / TOURNAMENT PLAY.

ROSTER RULES

PROOF OF AGE AND GRADE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PLAYERS ON ROSTER. ACCEPTABLE PROOFS OF AGE ARE; CLEAN PHOTOCOPIES OF BIRTH CERTIFICATES, ADOPTION PAPERS, OR IMMIGRATION PAPERS.

PROOF OF GRADE IS A CLEAN COPY OF ANY REPORT CARD OF THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR OR SCHOOL DOCUMENT THAT INDICATES CURRENT GRADE LEVEL. TEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE PROOF OF AGE AND GRADE UPON CHECK-IN AND THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT. IT MUST BE PRESENTED TO BALLING ON THE BEACH REPRESENTATIVE / TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR UPON REQUEST.

NO ROSTER ADDITIONS WILL BE PERMITTED AFTER THE TEAM HAS BEGUN PLAY OF ITS FIRST TOURNAMENT GAME WITHIN ANY TOURNAMENT.
